wild {unknown} friday

The Wands are all about creativity, action and manifestation and as the Father expresses the strongest essence of this energy we would expect the person this card represents to display strong characteristics of a fiery, spontaneous risk taker.

This is a person who is extremely visionary and action oriented. Although very charismatic and powerful, these qualities have the potential to spill over into arrogance and ruthlessness. This person “takes no prisoners” in their drive to get things done and in their ambitions to manifest their ideas into the realm of reality. Anyone that gets in their way can be on the receiving end of their intimidating and sometimes aggressive response and their overbearing demeanour.

These people are the natural born entrepreneurs of this world who like to “strike while the iron is hot”. This spontaneity can sometimes become impulsiveness and can result in making loads of money, but also have the potential to lose a fortune too.

When a person with these qualities puts in an appearance he or she may be showing you where you could bring a bit more drive and measured risk taking into your own life.

By the same token if this is an aspect of your own personality then try and keep it positive and use the fiery, action oriented manifestation of this energy in order to move your projects forward with creativity and aplomb.

Something ‘out of the blue’ may happen this week…..a curve ball hurtling from left field taking you totally by surprise! When The Tower appears, although it may seem destructive, it is always because something built on shaky foundations needs to be swept aside to make room for new, more fitting circumstances. This can be an outer or inner phenomenon…..whichever, it allows new paradigms and ways of seeing to emerge.

wild {unknown} friday

This is a truly beautiful card, randomly drawn for the upcoming week. Stars have always been associated with hope, wishes, magic and inspiration and this card is no exception!
A star is a glowing beacon of hope, shining with its message of faith and trust and present in even the darkest night. It is our promise of a better future whatever the circumstances of the past. It is a time to pay close attention to the still small voice within and be open to new growth and ideas. Make sure you prioritise spiritual development…..it will be vitally important for your personal transformation.
The Star symbolises a guiding light, like your own personal GPS which will never see you wrong. The Star in a reading indicates a renewed sense of self esteem and belief; trust yourself and never forget who you are and what you desire. Never again abandon yourself.
When you wish upon a star your dreams come true…..so goes the song which associates this heavenly body with magic, inspiration and hope. In order to reach this place of enchantment it is necessary to believe that it is possible. Be prepared to shine brightly and radiate your star quality. You may have a talent or gift which you have been blessed with, so know that the world needs your light and allow it to shine far and wide.
There is hope in the darkness and light at the end of the tunnel, and The Star is a good omen marking something special. Wishes really do have the potential to come true if you embark on a spiritual journey bringing greater meaning and purpose into your life.
Follow your own North Star and connect with its uplifting message of optimism, hope and magic.
Until next week….

Don’t be taken in by rhetoric this week. This is the time to take a step back, keep a cool and logical head and question what is being espoused by others. Somewhere within the fear mongering and scare tactics is the truth. Maybe it suits the powers that be to propagate lies and confusion but it doesn’t mean you must fall foul of these fears. You are a visionary and seer and your gut instincts regarding recent developments are spot on. Don’t second guess yourself.

Today’s card is a truly beautiful one! In The Wild Unknown the image depicts a strong and pure white tree against a pitch black night sky, illuminated only by a crescent moon. The tree is edged with glorious pink, purple and red blossom to represent fertility, femininity and abundance.

The dark night sky suggests the mystery and shadows of the Divine Feminine and alludes to the power of intuition and inner wisdom.

The Empress also has a deep and sensual connection with life and nature, and a strong need for creative self expression and beauty in her life. This is a time to fully explore your world using the five senses: immerse yourself in a sensual maelstrom of soothing and harmonious sounds, delectable tastes and smells, the pure comfort of natural fibres, and the awe inspiring sights of the natural world.

Be careful what you wish for because you might just get it! Sometimes it’s difficult to know what it is we really want. Even if we have a good idea what it is, it’s impossible to envisage all the ramifications which may ensue if we were to achieve our hearts desire. How many times have we been convinced that if only we had this, that or the other we would be happy only to achieve it and realise that the state of bliss we expected is short lived? Maybe instead of being specific we could ask for whatever we encounter to be for our highest good; or to ‘let go and let God’ if we believe in a higher power.

This Card signals the beginning of something new. This has the possible potential to develop into something life changing but for now it is early days so nothing is guaranteed. It can be a new relationship, friendship, reconciliation or creative project. It could even be a new way of thinking or an alternative perspective on life. If allowed to gently unfold in it’s own way, it may evolve into something beautiful.

This week’s card, The Hierophant, has an image of a crow, which speaks of magic, intuition, wisdom, and the voice of experience. The crow is cawing, so it obviously has something important to convey to us. It could be quite literal; maybe we will read something on Twitter which has a significant message for us this week! I think it’s important to remember with this card that the the relevant information is likely to come from an outside source. It could be a mentor, counsellor or teacher, or just as likely, it may be a snippet of conversation we overhear, the lyrics of a song on the radio, or something we read on a blog at just the right moment.

The crow grasps a large key in her claws, which suggests that something vital is about to be unlocked….something of great value, which allows access to new information which has until now been under metaphorical “lock and key”. The penny is about to drop, and things fall into place.

The bolt of lightning underlies the fact that this message is likely to be received like a “bolt from the blue” when you least expect it. It is illumination that suddenly becomes available, in a classic “light bulb” or “ah-ha” moment.

Make sure that you are alert to all incoming information this week, whatever it’s source. There may be gold and jewels mixed in with the everyday dross!

Often when we can’t see properly we can start to imagine all kinds of frightening situations. When we only have the shadowy light of the moon to illuminate our path our fears can start to take on disproportionately scary guises. In the light of day these shadows can be seen for what they really are and cut down to size. Don’t let your fear take charge this week.
