This week things come together in beautiful ways! The Ten of Cups speaks of emotional rapport and fulfilment. All the colours of the rainbow stream from the cups depicting a complete and equal exchange of feelings. It is the sense of feeling totally at ease and accepted in your closest, most intimate relationships. This card is a positive and optimistic sign which augurs well for the coming days!
This week could require you to blend together qualities and ingredients in just the right ratio to get the results you are aiming for. Rather like baking a cake, often we need to skilfully add a bit of this and a dash of something else to get the mix just right so that it will rise in the oven. For us this will involve the elements of earth, air, fire and water and how we combine them to get the best results in our lives. Do we need more earthy pragmatism, or a few drops of fiery inspiration in order to bring our mix to life? Of perhaps we need to get our logical, rational head on, or be more compassionate and empathic. By blending different qualities in just the right amounts we can perform alchemy today.
Whatever you’re tackling this week, make sure you channel your inner Mother of Wands and do it with gusto and passion. Be authentic and true to yourself and demonstrate your confidence and creativity to others whatever you are involved in. This alignment with your true nature is highly attractive and charismatic so don’t be afraid to be your unique self as others will be drawn to your irresistible energy.
Life may have felt like an upward struggle for a very long time. Sometimes you may want to throw in the towel as you wonder how long you can continue as life persists in throwing you curve balls and challenges from every direction. But, you are so close to achieving your goal now. The crescent moon hangs in the sky with it’s promise of new beginnings. Keep the faith, and keep moving forward. Don’t give up now….you are so nearly there!
Sometimes, when we are desperately seeking change in our lives, it can seem as if nothing is moving. To outer appearances our life seems to stubbornly proceed in the way it always has, and things seem devoid of life and passion. The structure of our day to day lives seems solid and unchangeable, and we really can’t see a clear path forward, apart from the one we are stoically trudging along. However, just below the surface, still out of conscious awareness, things are starting to stir. Deeper down there is a riot of colour and inspiration which will soon break through to the surface. Hang on in there….the change we are seeking is on it’s way!
If you have felt isolated and closed off from the world recently, now is the time to re-emerge into the stream of life again. There is much to explore, and the rainbow at the top of the card holds the promise of magical experiences and connections to explore. If you have felt jaded and disillusioned with the world and what is happening in it, this card promises that you will now find much to inspire and delight you if you re-engage and get involved with causes close to your heart.
This week could feel restrictive and confining. Although there is nothing wrong with life feeling stable and secure, at other times we wish to break free from the rigidity and over defined boundaries and seek more freedom to do things our own way. This week take some time to explore new options and ways of doing things…..often a change is as good as a rest!
This week, the Two of Wands speaks of the creative potential which is now within touching distance. We have the ability at our disposal to direct this power, we just need to own this, and take control of it. It reminds me of the phrase, “light the blue touch paper, and stand well back”. Things are really about to take off. It also reminds me of two trajectories coming together….the synergistic energy of the two, eclipsing and enhancing the power of the one.
This week take some time out to just ‘be’. Sometimes we forget we are human beings, and act more like human ‘doings’ as we rush around trying to cross things off our ever increasing to do list. So today try and make life a little easier on yourself…..scratch anything that isn’t strictly necessary, and give yourself five minutes out of your busy day to close your eyes, breathe deeply, and get in touch with your inner voice. It may be that taking a brief timeout may inspire you with fresh insight or new creative ideas which will help make the rest of your week more productive.
Often when we can’t see properly, we can start to imagine all kinds of frightening situations. When we only have the shadowy light of the moon to illuminate our path our fears can start to take on disproportionately scary guises. In the light of day these shadows can be seen for what they really are and cut down to size. Don’t let your fear take charge this week.
