wild {unknown} friday

This week is a good time to take some time out to mull over your options. Don’t feel pressured to jump right into a particular course of action. This card shows that you have time to seek your own inner guidance and wisdom on any matter that is troubling you, and in fact it may actually be beneficial to hit pause before reaching a final decision. You may even find that by doing nothing a problem miraculously solves itself!

This week’s Card is the Four of Pentacles, and so it would be great to use this energy as an opportunity for consolidation. Anywhere in your life where a greater sense of stability and security is needed would be the best place to start. Because we are dealing with the suit of Pentacles, this will relate to the physical world of money, home, your body and health, and the natural world. Maybe you need to turn your attention to your finances to build in more security for the coming year? Or perhaps the excesses of the festive season have left you feeling sluggish and lacklustre? This is a fantastic time for putting in place sustainable steps to stabilise and ground your plans for the upcoming year.

Until next week,

This week, be still, and listen carefully to incoming information. This may take the form of snippets of conversation overheard; song lyrics; something you read in a book, or inspiration from your own intuition. There could be some highly useful information here, and something that you will immediately recognise as truth…..it may feel like tiny light bulbs firing in your mind and producing a significant “ah-ha” moment.💛

The randomly drawn card for the upcoming week is Death, which on first impressions can appear to be a very scary prospect indeed! However, please don’t be alarmed as this card can also signify much more positive occurrences.

Although the Death card may herald big changes, often unexpected, and may feel as though we are all caught up in the path of events we cannot escape, ultimately it can usher in new ways of being and new possibilities which could never have been envisioned before this cataclysmic, life changing chapter unfolded. These types of major turning points and times of reckoning also give an amazing opportunity for renewal and transformation.

Of course many of us may not have chosen for this situation to occur, but out of this ending can emerge a new beginning…..bigger and better than before, and give birth to something more valuable and powerful. Exercising our creative imaginations will allow us to visualise new possibilities.

During this period of transition  it can be difficult to see in which way the jigsaw puzzle is going to fit back together, but soon new constructive patterns will begin to emerge. We are given an opportunity to take a step back before moving forward in our quest to build a better, stronger and more resilient global community.
Out of such profound change will hopefully be born a new paradigm of strength and determination to ensure that what comes next is an improved, inclusive and more positive version of consensus reality.

Two’s company, three’s a crowd. This week you could feel left out in the cold in a relationship…..betrayed but yet bound into a situation from which you feel there is no escape. In this ménage a trois there are no winners; everyone is damaged and bloodied, battered and bruised. It needs one of the parties to realise the destructive nature of this liaison and start the process to cut the ties that bind and extricate themselves. This is the only way to set everyone free so that they can go forward to love and live to the full again.

The Pentacles represent the physical and material aspects of life, so the Father of Pentacles is someone who has dominion over the material world and through hard work, discipline and a conscientious attitude is able to create wealth, security and stability. This person has reached the pinnacle of prosperity and affluence and consequently is now able to take pride in their achievements and enjoy the luxury, abundance and sensuality derived from the fruits of their labour.

This person is skilled in wealth generation and never misses a business opportunity. The Father of Pentacles is strong and powerful and takes great pride in being an excellent provider who ensures the stability, security and protection of his loved ones.

The more negative aspects of this character which can sometimes be apparent are a tendency to be authoritative, controlling and domineering.

When The Father of Pentacles puts in an appearance it may be an indication that someone with these qualities may enter your life. It can also be a time when you will achieve the best results by incorporating the energies of this card into your projects!

We all have times in our lives when things feel desperate and hopeless. The Five of Cups depicts this time of mourning and grief when we need to work through painful emotions and feelings. When we are in the thick of these difficult times it seems that there is no end to our suffering, and that we will never feel joy or happiness again. It is important to treat ourselves gently and with kindness as we traverse this challenging terrain. There is no short cut to working through this process, however this card holds out the promise that when we are ready, we will once again raise our face to the sun and realise that life is good.

This weeks randomly drawn card is The Moon. It speaks of the inner landscape of intuition, dreams, the unconscious and the Shadow Self.

This is an untamed landscape which can be scary and where things aren’t always as they seem. If you venture into the woods in the dead of night it can be confusing and difficult to get your bearings. Your imagination can play tricks on you, bringing fears and anxieties to the surface. What is real and what is imagined? It would be easy to descend into a kind of madness in this bewildering world of illusion and deception.

However, this night time world of psychic exploration can also yield pure magic. By diving deep into the domain of the imagination, dreams and intuition it is possible to unearth buried treasure. Often the only way to navigate this world is by being guided only by your inner voice of wisdom and intuition. Even when you have lost your way your inner GPS will bring you safely home and back to yourself.

So, the advice for this week is to listen closely to that ‘still small voice within’. Something may not be as it appears so trust your instincts and hunches. Pay attention to your thoughts and feelings, and to any flashes of intuition which come out of nowhere. Your inner wisdom will not see you go wrong.

Until next week,

This weeks randomly drawn card is The High Priestess from the Wild Unknown Tarot.
This cards theme is all about connecting to the intuition, dreams and mysteries. The tiger is pictured against a night sky with a crescent moon illuminating the darkness. Between her paws there is an orb or sphere swirling with colours of blue and purple. These are considered colours of the intuition and spiritual receptivity. The tiger has a relaxed posture, suggesting that she has complete confidence in her intuitive hunches. She knows how to be immersed in the world of visions, mystery and the psyche without being overwhelmed.
This is also a time when a vast ocean of creative potential can burst forth. She is alive and inspired, and aware that the only thing limiting her vast potential is her own negative thoughts and behaviour. This simple realisation unleashes her creativity like a wild fire which rages in her wake and adds a sense of aliveness and inspiration.
She trusts completely in the divine plan and direction without anxiety, doubt or fear. All which occurs is part of the divine perfection playing out in her life.
Until next week,

The randomly selected card for the upcoming week is the Mother of Wands from The Wild Unknown deck. This card could relate to an actual person taking centre stage in your life this week; or equally it may be describing you, or alternatively the qualities and energy you need to bring to the table to get the best results from events and situations this week.
So, the first thing which springs to mind when I look at this card is how fiercely protective the mother snake appears as she closely guards the nest containing her eggs. Her body is coiled all around them ensuring that predators will have a hard time penetrating her defences. Snakes can also strike in a millisecond if threatened and will stand their ground in a conflict and bravely face an enemy. For these reasons this character is dangerous when provoked and certainly not the kind of person you want to get on the wrong side of!

Individuals with a strong connection to snake energy can often be extremely charming, mystifying and charismatic. Although they love, and seek out warmth and light, and often positively crave attention, fame or recognition, they may also be difficult to get to know emotionally and carefully control their public persona and the face they show to the world. They can be extremely loyal and generous to those who are admitted to their inner sanctum, but only after you have proved to them that you are worthy of their trust.
Because of the association with transformation which snakes hold by the shedding of their skin, it could also indicate a person who has survived much trauma in their life and through this become extremely strong and resilient. People who identify with the symbolism of the snake may be stubborn and fiercely independent. They have had to walk their own path so do not take kindly to attempts to control or manipulate and will go their own way no matter what. They can be the most loyal, protective person you could ever wish to meet, or on the other side of the coin if you cross them you could find yourself being swallowed whole for breakfast!
